Here is the second part of my Feel-good-post-exam-haul! (the crafting supplies part)! Just looking at the colors makes me so happy! The things I bought:
- Valentine themed and blue washi tape!
- Some 3D foam (doublesided) stickers
- crafting paper (the pink bundle on the right)
- 2 Sheets of vilt stickers!
- A music-note puncher
- Some 3D Letters stickers
- 3 packs of fabric sticker sheets (I am so freaking happy with these! )
- The most useful clear stamps ever! (see close-up!)
So that’s what I bought in a list. I am very excited to use all of these! Buying more crafting supplies and thinking about what I could use them for, really makes me happy. ;)… I mean just look how many times I’ve used “happy” in this post already… I should stop.
Anyway! Here’s a closeup of the Clear stamps!
It has SO MANY usefull words! I mean… To use for cards, project life, scrapbooking, filofaxing,… the list goes on and on. Yes, I am very pleased with these! Can’t wait to use them. That’s it for this haul! Thanks for reading. Bye
Hey there everyone!
Today I finnaly had my last exam! Afterwards I just had to do some feel-good shopping. I bought lots of crafting supplies (on sale) which you will see in another post soon! But I also but some fashion things. First of all I saw this cute blouse hanging in the H&M and thought it was so cute! I love how it isn’t too long, but not too short. And the back is actually a bit longer than the front. Love the fabric too. Here’s a picture.
Aside from this I found the most awesome necklace ever. Multiple charms for one necklace! Just look at it… There’s a little triangle charm hanging on it now, but it has so many others!
I especially love the bow, crown, and yes, the scissors! (It does represent my crafting hobby) I can’t wait to try all the charms! Aside from that I also bought some nice simple colored earrings. I also finnaly bought a new bag! Here’s a picture:
I really like it! This black colored bag has some pretty strong quality too! Anyway, this concludes this liitle fashion haul! The crafting haul will follow soon! ;) Bye!
Hey there! How are you all doing? Since my exams still haven’t finished yet, it was hard to find the time to blog… But since my long-awaited cheap desktoporganizer came with the mail yesterday, I just had to write a blogpost about it! As you can read in the title it was only $1,79 (including shipping). I spotted it on ebay and didn’t hesitate long to buy it. ;) Here’s a picture without anything in it.
Now, time to add a little magic!
As you can see in the picture, I used it to store my desktop supplies (well some of it…). I’ve put in some pens, sticky notes, stamps, washi tape, my ruler, some stickers and my smartphone. I really love how it looks colorfull and inviting while placed on my desk. This type of organizer can also be used for bathroom supplies, as you can see here:
If I were to use it as bathroom-supplies storage here’s what I would put in: nailpolish, lipstick, toothbrush, comb, mascara, eyepencil, some earrings, eyeshadow, a mirror,… Since I don’t use that much makeup I don’t really need to store more. But you can store whatever you want.
That’s it for today’s post! If you guys have any other ideas as to what you would store inside this adorable storage organizer, let me know! Bye!
Hey guys! As you all know, I’m a big Stamping-fan! I recently ordered some adorable stamps and a cute desktop calendar on ebay, for a pretty nice price! But first, here’s a picture of the calendar $10,59 (incl. shipping) !
I think the writing under the numbers is Chinese? Correct me if I’m wrong. ;) Anyway, you can tell it’s very adorable and cute! Then after using my new stamps ($13) the calendar looks like this:
I would’ve loved to use mor stamps.. But since I have exams, there really wasn’t much to stamp about… Anyway, now for a picture of the adorable stamps (which I’m still very excited about) :
Just look at them! And so many usefull ones. You don’t necessarely have to use them for your calendar. You can use them for cards, your filofax, journal, diary, planner, … so many things! I’m very pleased to have added these to my stamps-collection! For those of you who would love a box like this, just ask away! I’ll send you the link! That concludes this calendar/stamps update!
Hey ! Here’s another (post-exam) haul! And I am super thrilled about my purchases! Since there were sales going on I was able to by some scrapbooking paper at half price! The Christmas-themed paper will be for next year ofc. ;) Other than that I got some clear stamps: “Hugs” and “Kisses”. You can use this for so many things.. “Thank you cards, Get well cards, valentine day’s cards, other cards,…” I also got some washi paper! I really want to expand my washi-tape collection, but it’s hard to find in shops in Belgium. Then moving on with some cork stickers! I just loved these. And finnaly a round corner puncher!! I’ve been wanting this for a long time , but was never able to find it. NOW I HAVE!
You know what this means right?
No more weird looking round corners!
Just look at that perfection ! <3
Oh yeah, I also cut a little heart with my puncher!
Here’s a close up of the washi paper I got! Can’t wait to use them!
On a sidenote: I got these from a friend of mine! She had them for a year
and never used it and decided to give them to me. So nice!
Since we don’t have Marta Stewart supplies in any shop in Belgium, I’m
really happy! This concludes the haul! bye!
Hey guys! Having to deal with a lot of stress these exams, I decided to make a little something to cheer me up a bit. Therefore I made this “Quote-card” to fit in my journal. Here’s a picture:
As you can see, it’s very colorful and bright. It’s very easy to make! Here’s what you need:
~ a round glass for the circle
~ Some type of glue
~ any type of scrapbookpaper (any color, whatever you like! )
~ a pen (black or any other color)
~ white thick paper (so the scrapbookpaper underneath doesn’t show)
~ paper insert of your filofax/journal (to measure the right size)
~ any type of decorations: stickers, washi tape, decotape, stamps,…
After deciding which color/printed scrapbookpaper you’re going to use
you start with cutting the circles. As you can see in the picture on the left.
The white circle will be placed on top of the red one. The red one will be
placed on the card itself. Before sticking them on there, I cute my card
the right size and punched the holes in.
Then you write down whatever quote you like and decorate. :)
Have fun with it!
Some other nice codes that can brighten your day or give you some support:
- Live today, not tommorow!
- Keep calm and craft on
- Do or do not, there is no try (Yoda <3 )
- Smiling is contagious. :)
- Dress like you’re meeting your worst enemy!
- It’s never to late to start again.
- Smile. Laugh. Live.
That’s it for this post! Have fun trying it out and thanks for reading.
Hey there! I’m back with another post, but this time I’m putting my favorite perfume (atm) in
the spotlight! The shape of the perfume is actually based on Japanese “Kokeshi dolls” which
you probably have seen before. The perfume has a very sweet and subtle smell which I love.
I prefer this type of smell over “too strong” ones. To use it, you just take off the head, as weird as that may sound. This was actually a present from my boyfriend, Sascha. So I guess that
makes it even more special. The brand also has some nailpolish and other products. Items
like this make a great and lovely gift, don’t you think? I can assure you, I was happy!
Here’s a picture of the nailpolish which I also received as a little gift. ;)
Aren’t these just adorable? Just looking at them cheers me up. On a sidenote, I have a pretty big collection of Momiji dolls at home to. These are message dolls, also based on the Japanese kokeshi dolls. I will be posting about them in the future. Stay tuned for that!
Hey there! As you all know I’m a big fan of “Filofax” and recently got my own Pocket sized filofax. I’ve been wanting to make my own dividers ever since. A few days ago my 6 holes-puncher arrived with the mail, and I could finnaly get started! Before I tell you how I made them, here they are! (click for a larger view)
So as you can see the divider tabs are: “Diary, school, € (finances), notes, shop and blog”.
Here’s a list of what you need:
- patterned scrapbook paper (not too thin)
- the dividers that came with your filofax when you bought it
- a pencil
- sticky notes
- any type of glue / scrapbooking glue
- 1-hole puncher or 6-holes puncher
- Black or other color pen
As you can see in the pictures above the first thing I did was trace the original filofax dividers on the desired scrapbook paper sheet. Then you can see the result of that in the right picture. After that I punched the hole and started decorating them. Here you are free to do whatever you wish. Since these are my first dividers I kept it pretty simple. ;) All I did was add some sticky notes with glue and wrote on them. :) Oh, almost forgot. I also made the corners round with my scissors!
Have fun trying this out!
ps: I know the quality of the pictuers isn’t good, but I’m planning to use a (very simple) camera in the future. I don’t have it with me yet, since I’m away from home to study.
I am very excited to share my first haul with you guys! I titled this post filofax/crafting haul because this is stuff that’s used for both! Right now I’m going through a pretty rough time when it comes to my studies, and I enjoy escaping that a little bit by looking (sometimes buying) at crafting stuff. :)
First off I bought some patterned scrapping paper. I’m planning to make dividers with this! I also bought 2 rolls of washi tape, which I’m very happy with! Since one of them has camera’s on it, it will be easy to use in my diary (just cut one camera and stick it on). The sky themed one came with it, and is very lovely too, I think. Here’s a close-up:
Aside from the Washi tape, I bought a glue roller, this’ll be easy to use while scrapping or decorating my filofax! I also bought a cute bow puncher and a stamp roller incl cushion! Here’s a closer view:
And now for something that I’m SUPER excited about: My first set of clear stamps!! While browsing I just kept seeing these around. finnaly, I bought a set for my own (2 sets though). Even though I really want to try it asap, there is still something missing. I need the acrylic block! (the store was sold out :'( ) So I’ll have to wait until next weekend, at least. Anyway, be sure to expect a post about them, probably while using it to decorate. Here they are!
I absolutely love how I’ll be able to use them in my filofax! I mean these: “apointment, reminder, important, don’t forget,..” The arrows and pointers! The months, de date-thingy, that adorable small calendar!! I’m super excited. Oh.. and don’t forget the little checkmark! <3 Anyway , this concludes my first haul. Hope it was a good read. ;)
To my suprise, I have again been nominated for another award, called “Liebster”. I love how this idea lets you discover new blogs, get to know more people and support each other. So, thank you very much “vintagemissblog” for thinking of my blog!
Check out her blog here: http://vintagemissblog.wordpress.com/
First of all, here are the rules:
1. Link the person who nominated you.
2. Answer the questions given by the nominator.
3. Nominate 11 other bloggers who have less than 200 followers.
4. Create 11 questions for the nominees.
5. Notify all nominees via social media/blogs.
Here are the questions and my answers:
- What made you start blogging?
I really like the idea of inspiring people with lifestyle/fashion/… As I really love being creative, why not share my ideas with others (as crazy as they may be)? Even with something as simple as an OOTD. :) I’ve also always loved writing, sometimes when I have to express certain feelings, I prefer doing this by writing a letter. I am very excited to see where this journey leads me. I’m already happy to have met new people, and can’t wait to meet more! ^^
- If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Well, I think the answer to this is very obvious. Japan. I can easily say that Japan with it’s language and culture is one of my biggest passions. I’m even planning to live there for a few years at least. Since my boyfriend shares the same interest, I can definitely see it happening.
- Name three people you would love to meet:
I wonder if this includes fictional people? probably not. ;) The first person that came to my mind (without much thinking) is Nicholas Cage. I just really want to see his irresistable meme-face LIVE. I mean:
The second person (after a bit more thinking) would be Robert De Niro. I think he’s an amazing actor and some of the movies he played in made my childhood. Especially “The Godfather II”. Then, the third and last person is “Sakisaka Io”. I am a very big shoujo manga fan (Japanese comics), and she made 2 of my most favorite manga stories.
- Favorite book?
This is a pretty difficult question, since I’m definitely a movie person. (even though I love writing ;) ) Well, since it doesn’t say which type of book here is mine: (one of the first gift my boyfriend gave me) ah! You might have seen some funny videos on youtube of Simon’s cat! If not you should, it’s so funny and cute.
- Favorite song?
This one’s really difficult, I have so many. The internet and its people seem to be hating on this group, but still, it has to be this I think. Nickelback with the song “How you Remind me”. Me and my mother have been singing this song loudly in the car since I was very small. I’ve also sung this MANY times in my room when I was little.
- What would be your dreamjob?
Working in Japan in the Fashion industry or gaming industry.
- Three words to describe you
I’d say creative, insecure, loving. I asked my boyfriend and he said: fluffy, cute and energetic. (he also said some more things though, but I’ll spare you that). ;)
- What do you admire most about yourself?
I think it’s finding something positive in others. Even though I can be negative about myself, and I tend to be a bit too naive, I have no problem finding good in people. ^^ This isn’t always a good thing though. ;)
- A trend of 2014 you hope will silently go away
These… might aswell wear shorts, right. :p
- Piece of advice for anyone beginning blogging?
This would be networking :) It doesn’t only work for blogging, it works for life too. Just meeting new people, and supporting each other. ^^ it can’t hurt right?
- What are your goals for 2015?
Excercise more, eat healthier, take care of my blog, take care of myself, my family and my boyfriend. Think positive about the future.
DAMN, this was a pretty long post, and I haven’t even nominated other bloggers yet. :) So here they are:
Then for the 11 questions the nominees will be answering. :)
- What is your greatest strength?
- What is your greatest weakness?
- Why do you blog?
- If you could be anything, what would you be?
- Cats or dogs?
- What is your ultimate favorite piece in your closet (irreplacable)?
- What is your favorite holiday?
- What kind of music do you listen to?
- Favorite tv-show?
- Coffee or tea?
- What does a day in your life look like?
So there it is. The end of the post! Hope you enjoyed the read!
