DIY quote card

Hey guys! Having to deal with a lot of stress these exams, I decided to make a little something to cheer me up a bit. Therefore I made this “Quote-card” to fit in my journal. Here’s a picture:

As you can see, it’s very colorful and bright. It’s very easy to make! Here’s what you need:

BeFunky_IMG_20150116_121314.jpgΒ ~ a round glass for the circle
~ Some type of glue
~ scissors
~ any type of scrapbookpaper (any color, whatever you like! )
~ a pen (black or any other color)
~ white thick paper (so the scrapbookpaper underneath doesn’t show)
~ paper insert of your filofax/journal (to measure the right size)
~ any type of decorations: stickers, washi tape, decotape, stamps,…
BeFunky_IMG_20150116_114619.jpgΒ After deciding which color/printed scrapbookpaper you’re going to use
you start with cutting the circles. As you can see in the picture on the left.
The white circle will be placed on top of the red one. The red one will be
placed on the card itself. Before sticking them on there, I cute my card
the right size and punched the holes in.
Then you write down whatever quote you like and decorate. :)
Have fun with it!

Some other nice codes that can brighten your day or give you some support:

  • Live today, not tommorow!
  • Keep calm and craft on
  • Do or do not, there is no try (Yoda <3 )
  • Smiling is contagious. :)
  • Dress like you’re meeting your worst enemy!
  • It’s never to late to start again.
  • Smile. Laugh. Live.
  • ….

That’s it for this post! Have fun trying it out and thanks for reading.
