Small Hema Haul!

Hey there! :D I hope you guys (mostly girls though) had a great weekend!

My local hema store had been doing some rearrangements for the past weeks to add more crafting & stationery stuff. So every few days I couldn’t help but sneak a peak at what they’ve been adding to their stash! The worst part was that I could actually look into the stacked boxes and see all of the stationery things that I couldn’t buy yet. o.O Seriously…

BUT a few days ago it was finnaly finnished! :D I tried not to go over the top with what I would buy, so I only bought what I just couldn’t overlook! So here’s what I got in a full picture!

IMG_0883

On the right you can see I bought 6 cute colored clips! :D You know I love colors & colorcoding, and when I saw these, I obviously couldn’t resist! So yess, I took those along with me! underneath lay some cute colored pockets that you can stick wherever. :) I thought it might be usefull in the future! (especially the picture sized ones!!)

Now for some more pictures of the stamps&washi tape!

IMG_0885

There was this little box full with letter stamps with different fonts. Obviously, resistance was futile! :D In the picture above I stamped my alias name! :3 I’m really develloping a soft spot for wooden stamps lately (aside from my clear stamps love ofcourse!)

IMG_0884

This was another set of stamps! :D Aren’t they just lovely?! I love how it even has some cute quote stamps! And yess, that pineapple also won me over! Then for the final stamp set here they are:

IMG_0886

I especially love the cute banner thingy! That leaf frame is perfect too! :D so yess, I’m very happy with my new stamps additions! Now for the last part of the haul, here’s the washi tape I got!

IMG_0887

I actually tried ignoring the glitter washi tape for a few minutes, by just walking around the store… But for some reason my feet led me back to them each time! Aren’t they gorgeous? o.O I also really liked that other cute set! :D I have to be honest about this “Hema-trip” though. If I didn’t contain myself like I did, I might’ve gotten A LOT more stuff, but I feel kinda proud that I didn’t go overboard! ;D Plus, you have to admit, these finds are hard to ignore right?? :p

That concludes this “Small” Hema haul! :D I hope you have a good day!! bye!

I’ve made some free journal cards! + decorating video!

Hey there!

Seeing my by blog and youtubechannel grow little by little thanks to everybody’s support really makes me a very happy person! :D So before I tell you what this post is about I want to thank you all for the kind support and feedback! ;) Every little comment and like counts to me! Because of this I’ve decided to put some more things into the ‘freebies’ section of this blog! Therefore I decided to design some free printable Journal Cards (Project life cards)! :D

I had a lot of fun coming op with simple doodle inspired black&white designs! Here is an overview of the journal cards I’ve designed so far and that I will put on the blog!

IMG_0799

It was a real creative challenge, but so much fun! You can see the desings are very simple, but you all know I love simple designs thehe. ;) Anyway the whole point of this doodly black&white theme is that you can add some color to the journal cards yourself! So, where can you download these? You can find them in the header: “planner freebies” section! It’s a word document on A4 paper (which you can change to lettersized paper) ! All you have to do is download them, print them on thick paper and cut them out ! :D Then they are free to use for whatever little project!

Want me to design some more free journal cards? Please let me know in the comments below! :D I would love to come up with more designs! Also, please share me your thoughts and if you like them! ;)

When you use the journal cards and post pictures on Instagram feel free to add the #Jessjc or #Jumpyjess ! Because I would love to see how you use these journal cards! :D

Now! I’ve made a video where I talk about the Journal cards and show you some examples of how to decorate them! Here is the video if you’re interested:

Again, let me know if you’d like more! :D Bye!

Hey there! Some of you might know that I love making personalised cards for friends, family,… There’s just something about making that unique card for that one person! :D One of my dear friends from Japan that stayed in Belgium for over a year on an exchange program is going back to Japan. Of course I could not say goodbye without making her a card! I haven’t really shared many cards I make here on my blog, but will do more from now on! :) I will miss her very much!
Here is a picture of the card:
