Small Stationery haul + 500 followers! :D

Hey there! :D I’m back with a little update! First of all I’d like to thank you all for helping me reach 500 followers on this blog! I never thought I could make it this far! A lot of you have been with me from the very beginning! Thanks for all the support! <3 It means the world to me!

A few days ago I went to a convention with my mother and grandmother called “Country Life” in Ghent. We’d never been there and decided to go and have a look. It was mostly about furniture and decoration, but there was this one cute stationery stand! It was the last year they would be there, as they’re closing up their store! They had some really cute stationery, that I just couldn’t pass by… :p Here are some pictures!

First of all, there was this super cute address book! I just love this kind of vintage look! :D Esecially with the passport & postcard on there! Since I have my own place now, I thought this could come in quite handy. ;)

These, I could NOT ignore! :D I mean look at that cute chubby cheff with his fabulous moustache. How can one pass these by? They’re also super tiny! Honestly I wish I would’ve bought some more! :o

These were the last things I bought at this lovely stand. I thought the memoblock on the left was pretty fun with the “huh?” :D And it just happened to be two for the price of one, so I grabbed the foodie one aswell!

Finding unique stationery like this really makes me very happy. :) I did not expect to find anything at that convention, but was caught by suprise by this cute stand. Too bad they’re closing the store.. well, that concludes this little update! More to come. :D

Long time no see! UPDATES!

Hey there !! :D

It’s been a while since I last updated my blog and I sincerely apologize for that! A lot of things have been going on in my life lately, although of course, that’s not an excuse. ;) I guess this blogpost is going to be a bit more personal than I usually write them. For starters, I decided to quit my study at University. For those who didn’t know, I was studying Japanology. There are a lot of reasons for that decision, but the most important one was, that I was unhappy. At this moment I can honestly say, with a smile, that I’ve made the right decision! Following by this event I am looking for a job right now. We’ll see how that goes. :) Another very big development in my life is the fact that I’m no longer living with my parents but have found a little place in Ghent where I now live with my boyfriend, Sascha. He just graduated and is also looking for a job at the moment. Now, that should give you a better overlook of what’s going on in my life. :D

BUT of course, during all of that I did keep making videos (not as frequent). And I plan to make lots more! I also want to update my blog more regularly as I used to. The Fallen Angels store HAUL!

Hey everyone! :D how’s everyone doing?
I visited my favorite shop in Ghent again and bought some lovely stationery goodies! Ofc, you all know I love sharing my finds with you guys! In the picture above you can see a picture of the things I got there! Just look at the colors! <3 Here are some closer pictures:

Here shown are some awesome postcards! :D Most of the postcards that I found in the shop were made by the shop owner and her family self, which I think is awesome! I reall love that “Alice in Wonderland card”! Although the one with the animals in space has to be my favorite! Which one do you like the most? ;) Notice that envelope on the left? She actually put the cards in that envelope, so you just get that as an extra! Since I’m a stationery addict, this made me very happy!

These are two notebooks that I also picked up there! I didn’t have any travel themed notebooks, and I just thougth these were awesome! The famous airmail blue and ride stripes is what convinced me though.. :p

Look at these!! I was immediately sold when I saw these! I didn’t have any “letter-themed” Washi tape yet and when I saw these I got so excited! They also have this lovely vintage feel! This washi tape set came in a cute tin seethrough box which just added to its charm!

This was another Washi tape tin box set that I couldn’t ignore! I just love the stationery theme and I couldn’t look away! Well, this concludes everything I bought at my favorite store! If you were to visit Belgium, you should definitely swing by this store in Ghent! I highly recommend it! :3 In the future I will make a spotlight post or video (not sure yet) to show you why I love this store so much!

MY STICKERS GOT ACCEPTED FOR LINE! :D

You guys! :D

I am so exctied right now!! Some of you might know the app called “LINE”? it’s a chat app just like whatsapp and many others. Although LINE is mostly used around Asia. I mostly use the app to connect to Japanese friends! In the app you can also use stickers with different emotions,… (Just like facebook, although LINE was first :D )

LINE now has something called “Creator market” which means you can try sending in your own drawn stickers which they can sell, and you get, I think half of the income? Anyway I decided to make some and send them in! You had to make about 40, which is A LOT! :o It took me forever! :D Then I just had to wait for it to get approved! AND IT DID OMG! I really hope someone out there will like them enough to want to use them for their own! :3 I can only imagine how awesome that would be! So ofc I had to share my excitement with you all! :D Yay fluffy chickens!!

Flea market Finds!

Hey there! It’s summer, and you know what that means! :D FLEA MARKETS! Since I was a child I’ve always loved going to flea markets. The unique things you can find there are just so precious ! And this time too, I also found some lovely things for a very low price! Starting with this frame!

First of all, this is my favorite color, so it immediately caught my attention! It’s a small cute kitschy frame as you can see! Aren’t those two birds just awesome? :D I think this frame was about 50 eurocents. So ofcourse, I did not hesitate one bit to take this cute frame home with me!

I also found some stickers! :D Well, since it’s a flea market, I wasn’t suprised these weren’t complete anymore.. But because of the price (and my stickeraddiction) I had to buy these. Also I love cats so. I think they’re pretty cute!

Then I found these cheap unused sticky notes! :D I really like the colors. And you know, a planneraddict can never have enough sticky notes (amongst other things… )

Besides all of that, I also found this cute little box! I absolutely love this color! And also that sakura flower on top is so cute! The gold accent aswell! So yess.. this little box came back home with me aswell! But the last thing I found.. Is wat completely made my day!!

THESE CARDS! (yess, this needed caps. :p) There was this old guy with a bunch of cards from the fifties! Just look at how oldschool these are! :o The colors are so lovely! I thought they were absolutely precious! :) Since I’m a stationery freak, I just had to buy some of these.. Now I feel like maybe I should’ve bought some more! So yess, finding these made the flea market trip worth while! I can’t wait to visit more flea markets! :D I wonder if I’m the only one who just loves strolling around at a flea market? :o

I’m actually really not a “brand” person. So naturally I don’t have a “go to” brand of makeup. ;) I do wear makeup, but my collection is pretty small. I’ve been wearing more lipstick lately though. I love how it makes me look more classy!
What is your favorite fashion trend?
This has to be oversized sweaters! I’d wear them every season though. I love how I can wrap it all around me, and just hide in their. So warm and comfy!

CHOCOLATE MILK WITH MARSHMELLOWS. Yes, this had to be in caps. :p

Blue! All shades of blue. I love how it looks so dreamy. (close call with purple/pink)

What made you start blogging?
I really like the idea of inspiring people with lifestyle/fashion/… As I really love being creative, why not share my ideas with others (as crazy as they may be)? Even with something as simple as an OOTD. :) I’ve also always loved writing, sometimes when I have to express certain feelings, I prefer doing this by writing a letter. I am very excited to see where this journey leads me. I’m already happy to have met new people, and can’t wait to meet more! ^^
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Well, I think the answer to this is very obvious. Japan. I can easily say that Japan with it’s language and culture is one of my biggest passions. I’m even planning to live there for a few years at least. Since my boyfriend shares the same interest, I can definitely see it happening.
Name three people you would love to meet:
I wonder if this includes fictional people? probably not. ;) The first person that came to my mind (without much thinking) is Nicholas Cage. I just really want to see his irresistable meme-face LIVE. I mean:
The second person (after a bit more thinking) would be Robert De Niro. I think he’s an amazing actor and some of the movies he played in made my childhood. Especially “The Godfather II”. Then, the third and last person is “Sakisaka Io”. I am a very big shoujo manga fan (Japanese comics), and she made 2 of my most favorite manga stories.
Favorite book?
This is a pretty difficult question, since I’m definitely a movie person. (even though I love writing ;) ) Well, since it doesn’t say which type of book here is mine: (one of the first gift my boyfriend gave me) ah! You might have seen some funny videos on youtube of Simon’s cat! If not you should, it’s so funny and cute.
Favorite song?
This one’s really difficult, I have so many. The internet and its people seem to be hating on this group, but still, it has to be this I think. Nickelback with the song “How you Remind me”. Me and my mother have been singing this song loudly in the car since I was very small. I’ve also sung this MANY times in my room when I was little.
What would be your dreamjob?
Working in Japan in the Fashion industry or gaming industry.
Three words to describe you
I’d say creative, insecure, loving. I asked my boyfriend and he said: fluffy, cute and energetic. (he also said some more things though, but I’ll spare you that). ;)
What do you admire most about yourself?
I think it’s finding something positive in others. Even though I can be negative about myself, and I tend to be a bit too naive, I have no problem finding good in people. ^^ This isn’t always a good thing though. ;)

Piece of advice for anyone beginning blogging?
This would be networking :) It doesn’t only work for blogging, it works for life too. Just meeting new people, and supporting each other. ^^ it can’t hurt right?

Christmas decoration 2014

Here’s a little snowman (actually pretty big) my mom bought. She fell in love with it at first sight!
I love the way it smiles! ^^ It’s standing next to the Christmas tree, that you can see in the next picture! Oh yeah, for the record, this is about the christmas decoration at my family home (which I decorated) ;) I don’t live alone, not yet! ^^

For the Christmas tree this year, my mother asked me to add some bows to it. They were quite a job to make (since I’m a perfectionist), but it really adds a lot to the tree I think. It’s an icy theme, as you can see^^ Then here’s some other decoration !

You just gotta love polarbears! <3 They even sparkle a bit! Then here’s some more!

I actually got these owls a few years back. I just love their fluffiness! ^^

My first Japanese lunchbox (bento)!

So here’s my very first bento box (Japanese lunchbox). I have always wanted to try making my own bento box after seeing pictures of others. Even though it took quite some time, I had a lot of fun making this! As you can see I used some adorable animal picks and also tried to make some shapes (for that cute touch).

I can’t wait to make more!
