This little keychain is definitely the most precious thing in the Happy mail. Hannah actually made this herself! it’s a character from the movie “My next-door neighbour, Totoro” from StudioGhibli. It is so adorable and sweet! I feel very lucky to have gotten one of her handmade items!

Filofax/Craft/PL haul (sales <3)

BeFunky_IMG_20150117_120927.jpg

Hey ! Here’s another (post-exam) haul! And I am super thrilled about my purchases! Since there were sales going on I was able to by some scrapbooking paper at half price! The Christmas-themed paper will be for next year ofc. ;) Other than that I got some clear stamps: “Hugs” and “Kisses”. You can use this for so many things.. “Thank you cards, Get well cards, valentine day’s cards, other cards,…” I also got some washi paper! I really want to expand my washi-tape collection, but it’s hard to find in shops in Belgium. Then moving on with some cork stickers! I just loved these. And finnaly a round corner puncher!! I’ve been wanting this for a long time , but was never able to find it. NOW I HAVE!

BeFunky_IMG_20150117_121909.jpg You know what this means right?
No more weird looking round corners!
Just look at that perfection ! <3
Oh yeah, I also cut a little heart with my puncher!

BeFunky_IMG_20150117_122247.jpg

Here’s a close up of the washi paper I got! Can’t wait to use them!

BeFunky_IMG_20150117_125055.jpg On a sidenote: I got these from a friend of mine! She had them for a year
and never used it and decided to give them to me. So nice!
Since we don’t have Marta Stewart supplies in any shop in Belgium, I’m
really happy! This concludes the haul! bye!

DIY easy dividers

Hey there! As you all know I’m a big fan of “Filofax” and recently got my own Pocket sized filofax. I’ve been wanting to make my own dividers ever since. A few days ago my 6 holes-puncher arrived with the mail, and I could finnaly get started! Before I tell you  how I made them, here they are! (click for a larger view)

BeFunky_IMG_20150108_082438.jpg  BeFunky_IMG_20150108_082506.jpg  BeFunky_IMG_20150108_082552.jpg  BeFunky_IMG_20150108_082705.jpg  BeFunky_IMG_20150108_083128.jpg  BeFunky_IMG_20150108_083152.jpg

So as you can see the divider tabs are: “Diary, school, € (finances), notes, shop and blog”.

Here’s a list of what you need:

  1. patterned scrapbook paper (not too thin)
  2. scissors
  3. the dividers that came with your filofax when you bought it
  4. a pencil
  5. sticky notes
  6. any type of glue / scrapbooking glue
  7. 1-hole puncher or 6-holes puncher
  8. Black or other color pen

As you can see in the pictures above the first thing I did was trace the original filofax dividers on the desired scrapbook paper sheet. Then you can see the result of that in the right picture. After that I punched the hole and started decorating them. Here you are free to do whatever you wish. Since these are my first dividers I kept it pretty simple. ;) All I did was add some sticky notes with glue and wrote on them. :) Oh, almost forgot. I also made the corners round with my scissors!

Have fun trying this out!
ps: I know the quality of the pictuers isn’t good, but I’m planning to use a (very simple) camera in the future. I don’t have it with me yet, since I’m away from home to study.

Filofax/crafting haul

BeFunky_IMG_20150107_183710.jpg

I am very excited to share my first haul with you guys! I titled this post filofax/crafting haul because this is stuff that’s used for both! Right now I’m going through a pretty rough time when it comes to my studies, and I enjoy escaping that a little bit by looking (sometimes buying) at crafting stuff. :)

First off I bought some patterned scrapping paper. I’m planning to make dividers with this! I also bought 2 rolls of washi tape, which I’m very happy with! Since one of them has camera’s on it, it will be easy to use in my diary (just cut one camera and stick it on). The sky themed one came with it, and is very lovely too, I think. Here’s a close-up:

Aside from the Washi tape, I bought a glue roller, this’ll be easy to use while scrapping or decorating my filofax! I also bought a cute bow puncher and a stamp roller incl cushion! Here’s a closer view:

And now for something that I’m SUPER excited about: My first set of clear stamps!! While browsing I just kept seeing these around. finnaly, I bought a set for my own (2 sets though). Even though I really want to try it asap, there is still something missing. I need the acrylic block! (the store was sold out :'( ) So I’ll have to wait until next weekend, at least. Anyway, be sure to expect a post about them, probably while using it to decorate. Here they are!

BeFunky_IMG_20150107_185036.jpg

I absolutely love how I’ll be able to use them in my filofax! I mean these: “apointment, reminder, important, don’t forget,..” The arrows and pointers! The months, de date-thingy, that adorable small calendar!! I’m super excited. Oh.. and don’t forget the little checkmark! <3 Anyway , this concludes my first haul. Hope it was a good read. ;)
