New Year’s special!: Transforming a cheap plain planner into a unique one!

Hey there everyone!

First of all I’d like to apologize for losing track of keeping up with my blog. =o I’ve been working really hard at youtube and my day to day job aswell. (Yay, I found a job!) But with the new year that just started, I made it one of my many resolutions. ;)

Speaking of the new year! I’ve decided to make a video on how to turn a plain & cheap planner into a more unique and personalised one. This keeping in mind that not anyone can afford a filofax or expensive planner. There’s nothing more fun than experimenting and trying to be a creative planner on a budget!

The planner I chose was a simple planner from ‘HEMA’, one of my favorite stores. It was around 6 euros, so very inexpensive. Then I decided tot transform it! If you wanna see how I did that, watch the video down below! ;)

I hope you enjoyed watching the video! Maybe it gave you some ideas for planning on a budget too! :3 Thanks for watching and supporting me!

See you!

Small Stationery haul + 500 followers! :D

Hey there! :D I’m back with a little update! First of all I’d like to thank you all for helping me reach 500 followers on this blog! I never thought I could make it this far! A lot of you have been with me from the very beginning! Thanks for all the support! <3 It means the world to me!

A few days ago I went to a convention with my mother and grandmother called “Country Life” in Ghent. We’d never been there and decided to go and have a look. It was mostly about furniture and decoration, but there was this one cute stationery stand! It was the last year they would be there, as they’re closing up their store! They had some really cute stationery, that I just couldn’t pass by… :p Here are some pictures!

IMG_1387
First of all, there was this super cute address book! I just love this kind of vintage look! :D Esecially with the passport & postcard on there! Since I have my own place now, I thought this could come in quite handy. ;)

IMG_1390
These, I could NOT ignore! :D I mean look at that cute chubby cheff with his fabulous moustache. How can one pass these by? They’re also super tiny! Honestly I wish I would’ve bought some more! :o

IMG_1393
These were the last things I bought at this lovely stand. I thought the memoblock on the left was pretty fun with the “huh?” :D And it just happened to be two for the price of one, so I grabbed the foodie one aswell!

Finding unique stationery like this really makes me very happy. :) I did not expect to find anything at that convention, but was caught by suprise by this cute stand. Too bad they’re closing the store.. well, that concludes this little update! More to come. :D

Bye guys!

Decorating my Midori Traveler’s notebook inserts! + winner giveaway!

Hey there!

Before I talk about my new video, it’s time to anounce the winner of my “random clumsy giveaway”! :D The person that is lucky to receive the cards that I accidentally bought double (yep!) is: DOVIE!

Now for the video! :D

Those that follow me on instagram know that I recently got my first midori traveler’s notebook inserts! Which I am super stoked about. Although I love the inserts, the cover is a bit to plain for me. Therfore I decided to personalise them and decorate them to my hearts content! Here’s a picture of how they turned out on the front!

IMG_1251
Yess, they are very colorful, just the way I like it! If you’re curious to see how the back looks like, I show you that in the video! Now what is the video about? I know some of you sometimes don’t know how to get started when it comes to decorating inserts, plannerpages,… Ā So I’ve decided to record how I decorated one of these inserts. I talk about the goodies I use following by me decorating the inserts. If you’re curious, here’s the video below! :D

That’s it for this little update! :D I hope you guys enjoy it and had a great weekend!

A message to people from BELGIUM & THE NETHERLANDS!

Thehe here’s a little update, a bit different from the sort! :D

I actually decided to make a Facebook group for planners, crafters and stationery addicts from Belgium & The Netherlands! :D I have been wanting to do this for a while now! and finnaly did it! The reason for this is that I honestly know close to “nobody” in Belgium with whom I can share my excitement for planners, crafting and stationery.

Oh how I would love to share the joy and excitement when I visit a Hema store for example! :D My dream is for this group to grow and bring people together! :) One day I hope to even organize some planner addicts meets! Drinking some coffee and tea together while sharing our experiences with planners and tales. =)

I’ll just see how this goes! :D

So for the people from Belgium and the Netherlands who want to join, feel free! :D

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1631613843780192/
oh and you can definitely invite others who share the passion! :D

So this was just a small little update! ;)
I hope everyone is having a great week!

Happy Mail from Deya!

Hey there! :D

I got another happy mail!, yay! this one’s a little special though. (not that the others aren’t…) My friend and I, whom I met years ago decided to become penpals! She lives in the Netherlands and I live in Belgium, so staying in touch hasn’t been the easiest, so therefore, SNAILMAIL! Yep! I’m very happy to get in touch with her again, especially with this medium! Since we’re both stationery lovers, it’s perfect!

Like I always do I recorded the opening of her lovely happy mail! :D But first, some pictures!

IMG_1124
Look at these! :D I absolutely adore those cute suirrel clips and that GIGANTIC strawberry clip! I just love it! Also those cute embellishments! I’m definitely gonna make paper clips out of those little strawberry embellishments!

IMG_1127
She gave me a lovely dog keycap! I love the little dog’s expression, it’s funny!^^ Aside from that she included some small deco tape rolls with a dispender! They are so tiny. And then some cute bear pageflags!

IMG_1129
I got my first stickerflakes EVER! :D This I am very excited about! And they are Kokeshi dolls! How cute are these? :o I really want to try making my own stickerflakes (working on that) :) Love the teeth stickerflakes too! She also gave me cute flamingo and cat stickers!

IMG_1131
Here’s the letter she wrote me! She added a cute sticker and sticky note! Her writing is so pretty. :o The pink pen you see next to the letter is actually an invisible ink pen! When you use the little light you can see what was written down with this pen. (it took me some time to figure out though. :p)

IMG_1137
These magnets are just <3 There are so many! I love the whole newspaper theme a lot! :D I already used them on my magnet board of course!

Now for the video: (if you’re curious to see my reaction :D)

Well, that concludes another Happy mail update! For those who are waiting for more planner related videos & posts, don’t worry ! I’m working on those. :D Bye everyone!

The Fallen Angels store HAUL!

IMG_1021
Hey everyone! :D how’s everyone doing?
I visited my favorite shop in Ghent again and bought some lovely stationery goodies! Ofc, you all know I love sharing my finds with you guys! In the picture above you can see a picture of the things I got there! Just look at the colors! <3 Here are some closer pictures:
IMG_1010
Here shown are some awesome postcards! :D Most of the postcards that I found in the shop were made by the shop owner and her family self, which I think is awesome! I reall love that “Alice in Wonderland card”! Although the one with the animals in space has to be my favorite! Which one do you like the most? ;) Notice that envelope on the left? She actually put the cards in that envelope, so you just get that as an extra! Since I’m a stationery addict, this made me very happy!

IMG_1009
These are two notebooks that I also picked up there! I didn’t have any travel themed notebooks, and I just thougth these were awesome! The famous airmail blue and ride stripes is what convinced me though.. :p

IMG_1011
Look at these!! I was immediately sold when I saw these! I didn’t have any “letter-themed” Washi tape yet and when I saw these I got so excited! They also have this lovely vintage feel! This washi tape set came in a cute tin seethrough box which just added to its charm!

IMG_1017
This was another Washi tape tin box set that I couldn’t ignore! I just love the stationery theme and I couldn’t look away! Well, this concludes everything I bought at my favorite store! If you were to visit Belgium, you should definitely swing by this store in Ghent! I highly recommend it! :3 In the future I will make a spotlight post or video (not sure yet) to show you why I love this store so much!

That’s it for this haul update! :D Bye guys!

Flea market Finds!

IMG_0923
Hey there! It’s summer, and you know what that means! :D FLEA MARKETS! Since I was a child I’ve always loved going to flea markets. The unique things you can find there are just so precious ! And this time too, I also found some lovely things for a very low price! Starting with this frame!

IMG_0929
First of all, this is my favorite color, so it immediately caught my attention! It’s a small cute kitschy frame as you can see! Aren’t those two birds just awesome? :D I think this frame was about 50 eurocents. So ofcourse, I did not hesitate one bit to take this cute frame home with me!

IMG_0925
I also found some stickers! :D Well, since it’s a flea market, I wasn’t suprised these weren’t complete anymore.. But because of the price (and my stickeraddiction) I had to buy these. Also I love cats so. I think they’re pretty cute!

IMG_0927
Then IĀ found these cheap unused sticky notes! :D I really like the colors. And you know, a planneraddict can never have enough sticky notes (amongst other things… )

IMG_0932
Besides all of that, I also found this cute little box! I absolutely love this color! And also that sakura flower on top is so cute! The gold accent aswell! So yess.. this little box came back home with me aswell! But the last thing I found.. Is wat completely made my day!!

IMG_0931
THESE CARDS! (yess, this needed caps. :p) There was this old guy with a bunch of cards from the fifties! Just look at how oldschool these are! :o The colors are so lovely! I thought they were absolutely precious! :) Since I’m a stationery freak, I just had to buy some of these.. Now I feel like maybe I should’ve bought some more! So yess, finding these made the flea market trip worth while! I can’t wait to visit more flea markets! :D I wonder if I’m the only one who just loves strolling around at a flea market? :o

That concludes this little update! Have a great weekend everyone!
